Description
This project was a little different than what we normally do in STEM. We usually build things and that require measurements and blueprinting, but for this project we learned all about circuits and programming. The first week or two we spent most of our time learning about parallels and series in circuits, using bulbs, alligator wires, and batteries. The next few days we learned about breadboards using LEDs, wires, and resistors. The last week we learned to program using the Arduino software on the computer. My partner and I programmed the song "Still Alive" onto the software. We also included a light show to go to the beat of the song.

Content
Circuit- a system of electrical conductors and components forming a complete and closed path.
Parallel- A parallel circuit has two or more paths for current to flow through.
Series- A series circuit is a circuit in which resistors are arranged in a chain, so the current has only one path to take.
Current- An electric current is a flow of electric charge. In electric circuits this charge is often carried by moving electrons in a wire.
Resistance- the degree to which a substance or device opposes the passage of an electric current, causing energy dissipation.
Voltage- an electromotive force or potential difference expressed in volts.
Breadboard- a board for making an experimental model of an electric circuit.
Coding- the process of assigning a code to something for the purposes of classification or identification.

Reflection
Overall this project was hard for me but easier for my partner because he was more experienced with coding. In the beginning it started out easy and progressed to get harder. When would be experimenting with alligator wires, bulbs, and batteries. It was really fun to be exposed to coding and hands on work like this. I feel like my cooperation was great on this project because whenever an idea was suggested we took it into consideration and looked at every aspect of it and decided the pros and cons. Another thing I feel I did well on was my empathy. I was inclusive and went with what my partner said. I feel I could have worked better on my leadership and work ethic. Although I helped my partner, I wasn't as experienced as him, so I had to observe him and have him explain his thought process. For my next project my goal is to increase my work ethic and leadership so my group can have the most help they need.
